joelthecat.diaryland.com Complete 180 Since the last post, I got a job, got someone I'm dating, and have been to Disneyworld. I would say I'm doing well! A minor step I took to create a sense of purpose in life, e-mailing my resume to a temp agency, has placed me in a position at an Environmental Engineering firm. There, I am learning disipline and a strong sense of organization and order, stuff I needed to succeed and didn't have inately, working as an Administrative Assistant. I'm using the job for the learning experience of being in a very professional office, and for that, it's great. There's also a chance that I might get to use my design degree afterall, helping out with website tasks and the reports that the office puts out every once in awhile. 40 hour work weeks haven't been treating me as bad as I'd think! And on the romance front, I've been dating a sweet dude named Harold for the last few weeks... which is impressive cuz prior relationship thingies with other guys usually don't make it past the two week mark. We go to his place often, watch movies and snuggle up... it's a very nice thing to have 'round. I had an awesome, all-American date with Harold too- a trip to a bar / restaurant called "The Chimes," where we pigged out on a full rack of ribs, french fries, and a pitcher of the most tasty beer in the world, Spaten Franzenkaner. It was so beautiful, I almost cried. And then, Disney. My parents both recently celebrated their birthdays at the end of April, and I met them in Orlando to do up all four of the Disney Theme Parks, and hit up Universal's Citywalk by night. Other than the usual arguments and frustrations of parental dealings, I had a great time. The thing I'll remember most is Magic Kingdom's firework show, the day my mom and I did up the park solo. I hugged her and watched the prettiest, best synchronized fireworks display I'd seen in my life, all in the shadow of Cinderella's Castle. Words can't describe how cool that was. So yeah... things are going well in the world of Chaz right now. Some temporary chaos has arisen by my trying to change my level of organization... like a lost car key which had me inconveniencing Jesse into driving me to work, but across the board, I'm starting to get my life straighter than it's ever been. It's a nice feeling. To the moon, Chaz, take it to the moon! "Making use of all this time, keeping everything in sight, close my eyes and listen to you crying" -Maroon 5

Reason for Terror # 82: Using phrase "da bomb" unwittingly in phone tapped conversations could lead to arrest and beatings by the FBI, local authorities, and hip police. Reason for Terror # 81: There was a little bit of mold on that bread you had this morning. Reason for Terror # 80: When evening falls, you can try to drive away; but the moon will be following... always following...
