joelthecat.diaryland.com Chaz's House With the Lights Out I'm sleepy... the annoying ghetto kids on the corner rang my doorbell wanting to come in (shyeah right), and kept ringing my doorbell once I gave up on them. As I pondered my legal rights, I noticed that on the plus side, they DID alert me to my package from amazon.com arriving. I got Geggy Tah's older CD- "Sacred Cow-" woo hoo! I had most of the songs on the computer already, but now, I have it in shiny 5 inch round, flat form. In other news, my parents left at noon today. They left me with a clean house, clothes, and stocked fridge, a new bike, vacuum... amongst other things. Thanks guys! As far as acceptance on the whole gay thing... the topic was never broached with my dad, but with my mom, using Mike and Chris as an example of a couple (she met them over dinner)... I mentioned how I'd want her to be supportive if I was in a relationship- she gave me "well, if you're happy, I'll be happy for you, but I can't, (and I'm sure all parents are like this) say that I didn't wish it turned out differently, but you can tell me. I chose to get married to your father, and get married to him, just like you will choose what you choose, and I can't control it, and..." I dunno, it wasn't the worst she coulda said, but I left that convo feelin kinda blah. We were at Krystal (fast food place) at the time, and after, we went to my aunt's, and sat through her recordings of her new granddaughter... I watched my aunt and cousin (and former roomie, Paul), on tape bathe the kid, and play with her and stuff... and it bothered me a bit. I think it was cuz they just loved the hell outta her for whatever she was doin, cuz she wasn't old enough to have pesky things like opinions and stuff. The part two of what effected my mood was my aunt's dog- she mentioned how her sons (my cousins) don't like it cuz it's a "sissy dog" to them, so they don't give it any respect or love. My mom stayed silent- I wondered if she drew the same parallel's to the whole gay thing as I did... I was tempted to say something, but decided against taking a stand.. instead, I kept playin with the dog and babying it, cuz I was feeling dog-friendly that afternoon. I caught my dad outside soon after and told him how lucky he was to have an awesome son like me. That our main arguments involve me being a mild messy person, and that I am able to chill and tolerate their general prattling meant to me that I am damn cool. I believe that was brought on cuz my mom mentioned how another cousin of mine, got a Camaro as her first car, and that my dad didn't feel that was justified. As far as car's go, I wouldn't care what I got if I got one- and I think I'm like that with a lot of material things.. and.. and... oooh, damn, I've lost it. I was just having an "I rule" fit with them... and I was hoping they'd realize it. They of course, are cool too... so far as parents go, and I've never really had a problem as far as material things go, but I do wish, that with my mom at least, she'd "get over it", already, and be as awesome and supportive as I can see her being in my head. And then there's Dave... he wants to temporarily move in, so he can move in with Chad. With me likin him as much I did... ackum! "Before the night when the lights went out / Was an electrical water spout / Absolutely everything about / Electricity" -Geggy Tah

Reason for Terror # 82: Using phrase "da bomb" unwittingly in phone tapped conversations could lead to arrest and beatings by the FBI, local authorities, and hip police. Reason for Terror # 81: There was a little bit of mold on that bread you had this morning. Reason for Terror # 80: When evening falls, you can try to drive away; but the moon will be following... always following...
