Everybody smokes. I'm a Drag Queen!

I feel really bad for David.

All his stuff is in my house- he came in from Valdosta Thursday, fairly early, we hung out all day, and I had an awesome time... just chillin, eating at a Chinese place, goin to the mall and browsing.. video games, a visit from Chris and some Vodka drinking... watching "Get Real" again, sharing a bed.. sharing.. yeah :-)

So yeah, he was real cool, but alas, he was here when my parents arrived, which was not a big deal, but I didnt' want my parents to see him cutting out my house with these big ol' bags like he'd been there for a while, so he left them... and now it's Sunday and they're still here- meaning he's been without half (all?) his clothes, and his other stuff. Ahhh, fuck! That's just mean... I hope he drops by tomorrow (early, for his sake) to get it, cuz I can't get in contact with him... he's got my number though. I really, really liked him. Perhaps more than is safe to do so... but alas, right now, I just want him to be able to have his stuff back. Remind me to post more details later :-).

My parents met my friends today. Yesterday, we all went shopping- I got bought a vacuum cleaner, and about 100 dollars worth of other stuff from Wal-mart... and I had dinner at Longhorns (baby back ribs! MMmmMMM)... that all went pretty well. They met Jesse then... though they didn't interact too much- my mom offered up soda and chips to Jesse, which he, of course, proceeded to spill pretty fast while we played You Don't Know Jack. Just so this doesn't seem too Chaz biased- he pretty much beat my ass each game.

Lessee, what else... oh yeah, dinner tonight. I went through a lot to make sure that it would work okay- set up a second table in the dining room to account for the amount of people, ran out to Wal-Mart for a second time to get extra folding chairs for them... had my mom make chicken as well as pork shoulder so that Mike would have something to chow down on... and the planning and stuff paid off, cuz though there wasn't great big revelations or giant conversations, there was some interaction, and I think my parents will be a little bit more cool when I say who I'm hanging out with. Plus- methinks my mom got to see little Mike and Chris be a couple... desensitization is good. I don't know what she knows or thinks yet, completely though, cuz she went to sleep... but I am *sure* something will be said tomorrow, and I'll mention it here.

Another thing not mentioned that I suppose deserves it- today was the "chill out" day with the folks- we went to River Street and walked the length of it, stopping in shops and stuff, taking the occasion pictures.. and then down another street or two, stopping again in random shops. Total purchases for the trip: One beer (dad), one Pina Colada (dad, for mom), a fridge magnet of a Savannah house, that was pretty touristy, but whateva- and a penny that we paid 51 cents to have crushed into something commemorating River Street. Ta da!! I took photos for my class- my hope is that one or two came out printworthy.

So yeah... parents.. good.. Joel (!!!), my cat, being in town = super cool... he's currently chillin and sleepin on my bed... and my friends like him a lot and want me to keep him.. and Dave... ahhh Dave :-). If things don't work out with his millions of other prospects (da fox), well, he might have another. I'll be seein him tomorrow. Hmm.

Title provided by a VERY random quote by Dave this weekend.

Reason for Terror # 82:

Using phrase "da bomb" unwittingly in phone tapped conversations could lead to arrest and beatings by the FBI, local authorities, and hip police.

Reason for Terror # 81:

There was a little bit of mold on that bread you had this morning.

Reason for Terror # 80:

When evening falls, you can try to drive away; but the moon will be following... always following...
